Is ALI LOHAN set to become the next screen star in the family?
LINDSAY LOHAN's 14-year-old sister is already filming her first feature film, according to People magazine. In the film, 'Mostly Ghostly' (based on the supernatural tween book series by R. L. STINE), Ali will play a high school senior, the mag reports.
E! Entertainment Television announced today that LINDSAY LOHAN's mom DINA and little sister ALI, 14, are getting set to star in an all-new, non-scripted series called "Living Lohan," scheduled to debut this summer.
When asked about the state of young Hollywood today, former child star JODIE FOSTER -- who began working at age two and received an Oscar nomination at age 14 for 'Taxi Driver' -- had some harsh words for stage mom DINA LOHAN.
"Can I just ask, where is her mother? I mean, really, where is her mother?" Jodie asked Gotham magazine.
In the September issue of ELLE magazine LINDSAY LOHAN gives her last interview before she was arrested over the Memorial Day weekend and consequently went to rehab for the second time this year. The issue hits stands on August 7.
In the cover story, the 21-year-old, who was arrested twice in the past several months, opens up about going to rehab at a young age, being hounded by photographers and her relationship with her parents. She also told the mag she was too "responsible" to drive under the influence: "They're (the paparazzi) looking for me to, like, trip, so they can be like 'Oh, Lindsay's wasted and driving drunk.' And that's not it. I wouldn't violate...I'm much more responsible than that. I would not do that."
As a Hollywood mom, DINA LOHAN could sit back and watch the frenzy going on around her daughter, but instead, she's choosing to fight back as she gives ET and entertainment correspondent GINA GLICKMAN full access to her trip from New York to Los Angeles to reunite with LINDSAY in rehab.
"I'm so proud of her for making that step, under a microscope -- bettering herself and still wanting to continue to work," Dina says of Lindsay's decision to enter rehab. "I wanted her to not work, but she said, 'Mommy, this is what I do.' And this is what she does every day -- this is her life."
Actress LINDSAY LOHAN, who has been gaining more attention lately for her late-night partying than her movies, checked into the Los Angeles rehab center Wonderland last Wednesday, where she continues her outpatient therapy.
ET has learned that the 'Bobby' star spent the pivotal weekend checking in with her doctors.
