ET has the 411 on just what Jennifer Aniston will be doing when she joins the cast of "30 Rock" for one episode this fall. The Emmy Award-winning actress will play free-spirited, 'Fatal Attraction'-like stalker Claire Harper. Claire is a former roommate of Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) from Chicago who turns up in New York and begins to stalk Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin).
COURTENEY COX's cable TV show about paparazzi and tabloid editors in Hollywood, "Dirt," has not been renewed for a third season, the FX network tells ET.
COURTENEY COX is back with a second season of the FX hit "Dirt," and she's giving our own THEA ANDREWS the dirt on the real-life paparazzi -- and her precious little girl, COCO!
Courteney talks to ET about the first season DVD and what fans can look forward to when "Dirt" returns for its second season of scandal and sleaze!
COURTENEY COX, now in production on the second season of "Dirt," FX's look at the no-holds-barred world of celebrity journalism, took time out to talk to ET about the show and its first season DVD.
"I think they like the show," the former "Friends" star says of the paparazzi. "I think they get a kick out of a show that is about them. So, I think they are nicer to me than they used to be, but not all of them, of course."
"Nip/Tuck," "Dirt," "Rescue Me," "The Shield," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "30 Days" and "The Riches" have all found a place on the FX Network's schedule for the 2007-2008 season, it was announced on Tuesday by JOHN LANDGRAF, President and General Manager of FX Networks.
COURTENEY COX, whose character was near-death after being stabbed in the season one finale of "Dirt," pulls through to return as tough-as-nails tabloid editor Lucy Spiller when the series, which she also exec produces, rolls out a 13-episode second season in 2008.
COURTENEY COX is keeping the FX network up to its neck in "Dirt."
The former "Friends" star will continue her streak as the loathsome yet lovable tabloid editor Lucy Spiller when the series returns for a 13-episode second season in 2008. She also serves as the show's executive producer.
It was a mini "Friends" reunion Wednesday night as JENNIFER ANISTON joined COURTENEY COX and her actor/filmmaker hubby DAVID ARQUETTE at the Hollywood premiere of his indie slasher satire, 'The Tripper,' opening in select theaters April 20.
The cast and crew got into the spirit of the film with a premiere at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which is just down the street from where David grew up. Siblings PATRICIA ARQUETTE and ALEXIS ARQUETTE were also on hand to show their support, surrounded by the graves of such legends as DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS JR. and JOHNNY RAMONE.
By now you've heard the "Dirt" -- COURTENEY COX and BFF JENNIFER ANISTON will be reunited on the small screen -- but MICHAEL AUSIELLO of TVGuide.com reports, "Aniston's character is a lesbian. What's more, she won't just mouth off to Cox's tightly wound counterpart, she's going to share a lip lock with her."
The "Friends" will appear together on Courteney's new FX show, "Dirt," with Jen playing Tina Harrod, a rival of Courteney's character, Lucy Spiller.
Even though COURTENEY COX's Malibu home was only about one-half mile from the terrible fire that totally demolished SUZANNE SOMERS' beachfront home, the executive producer/star of "Dirt," showed up to talk with reporters at the Television Critics Association's January press tour in Pasadena, CA.
"I wasn't [in Malibu]," Courteney explains. "My assistant was and she kept me up-to-date."
Former "Friends" star COURTENEY COX returns to the tube as the star and executive producer -- along with hubby DAVID ARQUETTE -- of the new FX series, "Dirt," premiering Tuesday, January 2 at 10 p.m.
"The truth is I had no intention of coming back to television right now," Courteney explains. "I love producing and it is fun. We have been developing 'Dirt' for two years -- FX had wanted to add a woman character to the show -- and when the script was written by MATTHEW CARNAHAN, it was fantastic. I was like, 'Wow. I want to do it.'"
