Former "Friends" star MATTHEW PERRY's NBC pilot "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" has been given a definite pickup for the fall 2006 season, marking the Emmy-nominated actor's return to the peacock network -- but without any of his "Friends." Matthew will be making new buddies, though, as he is joined by AMANDA PEET, BRADLEY WHITFORD, D.L. HUGHLEY and TIMOTHY BUSFIELD in the new show.
"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" was created by AARON SORKIN of "West Wing" fame. Along with Aaron, the series will be executive produced by THOMAS SCHLAMME.
