ALLEGRA VERSACE, the daughter of fashion desiger DONATELLA VERSACE, and the late GIANNI VERSACE's niece, is battling a serious disease.

Responding to reports that she's in serious condition, Donatella, along with Allegra's father, PAUL BECK, released a statement to ET today, saying, "Our daughter, Allegra has been battling anorexia, a very serious disease for many years. She is receiving the best medical care possible to help overcome this illness and is responding well.
