According to The Hollywood Reporter, JIM CARREY and '40-Year-Old-Virgin' STEVE CARELL will lend their voices to a CGI-animated feature based on the 1954 classic children's book about an imaginative elephant who hears a cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air. Suspecting that there might be life on that speck and despite a surrounding community that thinks he has lost his mind, Horton is determined to help.
Carrey has been cast as Horton and Carell has been cast as the mayor of Who-ville. The project marks Carrey's first foray into the CGI-animation world. Carell, though, was recently heard in the popular cartoon flick 'Over the Hedge.'
