Jason Priestley, Bonnie Hunt, Edyta Sliwinska and other stars headed to the Beverly Hilton Hotel April 18 for the John Wayne Cancer Institute's 2009 Odyssey Ball.
ET was backstage with the "Dancing" stars and their professional partners Tuesday night after football star Lawrence Taylor and his partner Edyta Sliwinska were eliminated from the competition.
ET confirms the news that "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, comedian Jeffrey Ross, was injured earlier today when his partner, Edyta Sliwinska, accidentally poked him in the eye. He was taken to the hospital, but he was able to dance tonight, despite doctor's orders and albeit, while wearing an eye patch.
After a thrilling sixth season, "Dancing with the Stars" crowned its new champion on Tuesday night. For the first time since season one, a woman was named queen of the dance floor -- Olympic gold medalist ice skater KRISTI YAMAGUCHI took home the mirror ball trophy!
The season finale opened with thoughts from the three finalists, Kristi, CRISTIAN DE LA FUENTE and JASON TAYLOR. Cristian, who tore a muscle in his bicep a few weeks ago during a routine and has danced with only one arm since, said the show made him realize: "In life, everything is possible if you really work hard for it." Jason said bashfully, "I feel like I've kind of, found a new me a little bit," and added jokingly that he'll dance in the future "for the right price."
ET's backstage with your favorite 'Dancing' stars as they react to the night's highest scoring couple -- CRISTIAN DE LA FUENTE and CHERYL BURKE! Also, watch JASON TAYLOR as he turns the mic over on his partner EDYTA SLIWINSKA.
ET confirms that SHERYL CROW is next week's musical guest on "Dancing with the Stars," performing "Out of Our Heads" from her latest album, Detours, in stores now. She will be accompanied by 2006 World Showdance Champions DELYAN TERZIEV and BORIANA DELTCHEVA.
ET's DONNY OSMOND talks to 'Dancing''s latest castaways CAMERON MATHISON and partner EDYTA SLIWINSKA about their emotions as they took their final bow on the dance floor.
"Dancing with the Stars" began its summer tour last week without last season's champ APOLO ANTON OHNO. But ET has just learned that the Olympic gold medalist has decided to put his dancing shoes back on and return for five performances.
"After the show, I started training again for the Olympics, but realized quickly that I couldn't go on without at least one more week of samba," Apolo said of his decision to join the cast.
