ELIJAH WOOD's got a "Lust for Life" -- the 'Lord of the Rings' star will play IGGY POP in a biopic about the punk rocker's early years, according to Daily Variety.
The former Hobbit will star in 'The Passenger,' which will chronicle Iggy's misadventures with his band, THE STOOGES. The rocker has reportedly given his blessing to the project, but will not be involved. The film is expected to be released in summer '08.

A whole new set of lovable penguins have taken over the box office, and they've each got a song in their heart to share with the world -- except for one.
'Happy Feet' is the story of Mumble (voiced by 'Lord of the Rings' star ELIJAH WOOD), an Emperor Penguin who has a terrible voice, but he sure can tap dance. His parents, Norma Jean (NICOLE KIDMAN) and Memphis (HUGH JACKMAN), worry that without a "heartsong," Mumble may never find true love.

Would-be Hobbits, Elves, Orcs and Wizards participated in a piece of movie history on "Trilogy Tuesday" at 99 theaters across the country by watching all three 'The Lord of the Rings' films back-to-back (including the extended editions of 'The Fellowship of the Ring' and 'The Two Towers') at specially set-up preview screenings.
One lucky Manhattan theater in particular had a special surprise: Four stars from the movie shocked hardcore fans by introducing the final installment, 'The Return of the King.' Cheers and screams of excitement greeted
