Rocker LISA MARIE PRESLEY loves Japan and travels there often, which is why she called upon wedding planner to the stars KARA KEANEY to make the country's many traditions a part of her wedding to longtime love MICHAEL LOCKWOOD.
"Lisa and Michael both genuinely love Japan," Kara, of Kara Keaney Events, tells ET. "[The wedding] was so simple and intimate and quiet."
ET has confirmed that LISA MARIE PRESLEY has married! According to a spokesperson for the star, the 38-year-old daughter of music legend ELVIS PRESLEY wed musician and producer MICHAEL LOCKWOOD in a traditional Japanese ceremony in Kyoto, Japan on January 22.
The bride's mother, actress PRISCILLA PRESLEY, walked her down the aisle and gave her away, while the best man was DANNY KEOUGH, Lisa Marie's former husband and the father of their two children. Daughter RILEY, 16, was the maid of honor, and son BENJAMIN, 13, was a groomsman. Michael's parents, VIVIAN and WILLIAM, were also in attendance.
PRISCILLA PRESLEY is no stranger to helping others, so when the Dream Foundation®, a unique organization that grants wishes to terminally ill adults, contacted her in hopes of granting one person's wish of going to Graceland, she was only happy to help.
"We had our first request five years ago to see Graceland," Priscilla, who's now an ambassador for the foundation, tells ET. "I got a letter from the recipients saying how incredible it was and how great the foundation was to grant this. They'd exhausted all their finances. They had nothing. So their request was to go to Graceland and visit where ELVIS lived."
LISA MARIE PRESLEY is getting angry on the streets of downtown Los Angeles, but don't let that fool you, the rock royal is only acting it up for her new video for her single "Idiot" from her latest album Now What. In real life, the 37-year-old songstress is singing life's praises as she opens up about music, motherhood and whether a wedding is in the works.
"I am the happiest I've ever been and I'm in the most sane, calm, best relationship that I've ever been in, for sure," she says of her romance with her musical director boyfriend MICHAEL LOCKWOOD, keeping quiet about any marriage plans.
Hot off the heels of her hit cover, "Dirty Laundry," LISA MARIE PRESLEY has an all-new music video -- with a mystery twist! ET's MARY HART caught up with the famous daughter of ELVIS and PRISCILLA on the downtown L.A. set of the new video.
"This particular song was very cathartic; I was stomping my feet, and screaming, jumping up and down," Lisa Marie tells Mary about "Idiot," the second single from her latest CD, Now What. "I am basically stalking a couple in this video. There is kind of a twist to the end."
