Halle Berry's ex-hubby Eric Benet is speaking out about his former wife and her new baby girl Nahla, born this last spring to the actress and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Although many know him as HALLE BERRY's ex, crooner ERIC BENÉT has made quite a name for himself in the music biz. Now, he's hoping to wow his fans with his brand new album Hurricane as he opens up about his marriage to the Oscar® winner.
Eric's life took a dramatic turn when his two-year marriage to Halle ended in divorce in 2003 after they both took different paths in their careers. "It was two years ago and I'm at a place now in my life where I can honestly say that I'm happy," he says. "I've moved on."
ET broke the news Wednesday that Oscar® winner HALLE BERRY is separating from her husband of almost three years, singer ERIC BENET.
In a statement to ET, Halle said, "Eric and I have had marital problems for some time now and have tried to work things out together. However, at this point, I feel we need time apart to reevaluate our union. We ask that you respect our privacy as we are going through this emotional time."
