Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, Stellan Skarsgard, Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer and director Ron Howard reveal secrets from 'Angels and Demons' -- in front of the camera and behind it -- from pulled permits and skimpy costume changes to the graphic nature of the violence in the story and how it translates to the screen!

Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charley Boorman travel from Scotland to South Africa on motorbikes in "Long Way Down," a special for the FOX Reality Channel, which follows their 15,000 mile journey across two continents and countries such as Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Namibia.
"I promised my kids I wouldn't be gone so long," Ewan, who previously did a journey from London to New York for another special, "Long Way Around," tells ET. "That is the tough part -- being away from your family. That is one of the reasons I am reluctant to do another one right away."
Big-time 'Star Wars' star EWAN McGREGOR is trading in his lightsaber and heading to the dark side for a minimum wage role onstage.
The 36-year-old star, perhaps most widely known for his benevolent role as the young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the 'Star Wars' trilogy prequels, will play Shakespeare's arch-villain Iago in a London production of Othello, according to The Associated Press.

In October of 2004, the original 'Grudge' -- a remake of the popular Japanese horror film 'Ju-on: The Grudge' -- opened with a surprising $39 million at the box office, ultimately making over $100 million and begging for a sequel.
Now, director TAKASHI SHIMIZU returns to continue his spine-chilling story this weekend, which finds former "Joan of Arcadia" star AMBER TAMBLYN heading to Japan to investigate the strange happenings affecting her sister, played by SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR. Amber quickly learns that the spirits from the first flick retain quite the grudge, and she must discover the secret of the supernatural curse to avoid her own doom. Of course, that creepy little powder-white ghost kid makes a return appearance to scare the bejesus out of you and your date.
He may not have been cast as the next 007, but EWAN McGREGOR plays a James Bond-style British agent in 'Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker.' The new movie hits theaters October 13 and is based on the New York Times best-selling, young adult adventure novels by author ANTHONY HOROWITZ.
Ewan plays the uncle and mentor to 14-year-old orphan Alex Rider (newcomer ALEX PETTYFER), who has unwittingly been trained to become a secret agent. Trained from childhood with exceptional skills in self-defense, mountaineering, scuba diving -- and practically everything needed to be a superspy -- Alex is a sleeper spy who is about to make his highly anticipated debut.
She's blonde; she's beautiful; and she can belt out a tune. LUCY LAWLESS is just full of surprises as ET's MARK STEINES discovers when he drops by the recording studio where the "Xena: Warrior Princess" star is laying down tracks for her song on the star-studded soundtrack, Unexpected Dreams: Songs From the Stars.
"I did Broadway a number of years ago and have kept a hand in singing," says Lucy, who played Rizzo in a production of Grease. "My voice teacher ERIC VETRO was doing an album and asked if I wanted to be on it, and, of course, I said yes. I am really thrilled to find myself in the company of these amazing people like SCARLETT JOHANSSON."
EWAN McGREGOR and SCARLETT JOHANSSON discover a horrifying reality and must run for their lives in 'The Island,' the new futuristic thriller from action maestro MICHAEL BAY ('Armageddon,' 'Pearl Harbor'), in theaters July 22.
The stars stepped out for the exciting Big Apple premiere, and ET was there!
