In the hilariously twisted 'American Wedding,' Jim Levinstein (played by JASON BIGGS) trades in his infamous pie for a wedding cake! The third installment of the 'American Pie' series reunites the wild and wacky gang for the wedding of the two lovebirds Jim and Michelle Flaherty (ALYSON HANNIGAN)!
The soundtrack for this funny film is overflowing with a whopping 17 tracks of poppy punk -- but it also packs a couple of mellower tracks for you chilled-out types!
DAVE GROHL and the FOO FIGHTERS get the party started with their rowdy tune "Times Like These." Led by the spiked and tattoed twins JOEL and BENJI EVERLY, GOOD CHARLOTTE crank up the teen angst on the upbeat number "Anthem."
The guys of NEWFOUND GLORY hit a pretty groovin' swing while they sing of love and heartbreak on "Forget Everything." And though they may be known more for their wacky onstage antics, the guys of SUM 41 show that they've got a serious side on the thick and chunky, and surprisingly powerful "The Hell Song."
Full of bouncy energy and sing-song melodies, "Swing Swing" from THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS will have you skipping down the street looking for the nearest swingset! For the patriotic crowd, there's another group of Americans on this compilation: AMERICAN HI-FI bang out "The Art Of Losing," the title track from their sophomore release.
Canadian pop superstar AVRIL LAVIGNE offers her defiant rocker "I Don't Give" which was previously seen on her CD single Complicated. With an overflow of humor, the ridiculously named HOT ACTION COP rock hard on their rap-metal injected "Fever For The Flava." They've got lyrics that'll have you rolling on the floor: "Gonna strip ya down like a car in a barrio," and "Can I get a little yum-yum ... kitty kitty/ Just a little somethin' somethin' ... itty bitty/ ... Let me spin you like a record ... wicky wicky."
Other highlights include SUGARCULT's energetic rocker "Bouncing Off the Walls," and the VAN MORRISON-penned "Into The Mystic" performed by JAKOB DYLAN and THE WALLFLOWERS.
'American Wedding' walks down the aisle and into theaters August 1, while the rockin' soundtrack is in stores now!
