Plans are being made to honor to the life of newsman TIM RUSSERT this week. A wake will be held on Tuesday, and MSNBC will broadcast a public memorial service on Wednesday.
Mourners will have a chance to say their goodbyes to Russert during the event, which will be held Tuesday afternoon at his son LUKE's alma mater, St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. A private funeral and burial will be held on Wednesday, followed by a private memorial service that will be broadcast live on MSNBC from the Kennedy Center at 4 p.m. ET.
The late LEONA HELMSLEY's extravagance in life will define her in death.
ET has confirmed that the "Queen of Mean," who died at her Connecticut home on Monday, will be laid to rest in a 1,300 square-foot mausoleum next to her deceased husband, HARRY, which is said to cost nearly $1.5 million, according to The Associated Press.
The stars of TV, film and music were moved to tears and occasional laughter at the funeral of their dear friend MERV GRIFFIN on Friday. After GOV. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER delivered a warm and humorous eulogy, many famous faces told ET how much it meant to them.
Longtime friend and "Jeopardy" host ALEX TREBEK told us the eulogies were "special and more moving than I thought, because I had to borrow a tissue from PAT SAJAK's wife during the service. Catholic funeral masses are for some reason more emotional for me because I was raised a Catholic. And when you're dealing with a personal friend and someone who hired you to do the job you're doing, it becomes even more nerve-wracking. But there were a lot of laughs. The Governor spoke. He brought down the house a couple of times and I think that's the way Merv would have wanted it: 'Go out with a laugh, go out with a smile.'"

Tonight on ET, we have ANNA NICOLE SMITH's stunt double in a wedding dress, veil -- and sneakers! Is it Anna's big wedding day? Nope! It's her husband's funeral.
One of the big scenes in the movie is the memorial service of Anna's billionaire husband, J. HOWARD MARSHALL II. Pop singer and former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant WILLA FORD plays Anna in the feature-length movie, coming out later this year, and she had to arrive three hours before the rest of the crew to have a prosthetic piece applied to her face to create the illusion of a heavier Anna.

"She did have a lot of specific things," HOWARD K. STERN tells our MARK STEINES of what ANNA NICOLE wanted. "[And] I'm going to do everything in my power. Down the line, people will see what Anna's choices are."
One of those things that Howard believes was made clear during last week's court case -- and the ruling which the Florida courts upheld just yesterday -- was that she wanted to be with her late son DANIEL, so much so that she had already purchased the plot next to her son in the Bahamian cemetery where he's buried.
