HEATHER MILLS and PAUL McCARTNEY's divorce will likely be finalized in six weeks according to the Associated Press. During a hearing held today in London, in which the ex-couple was not present, a judge granted a preliminary order of divorce.
Just one day after HEATHER MILLS was awarded nearly $48 million, the judge writes that her case claimed PAUL McCARTNEY "treated the wife abusively and/or violently," that "he abused alcohol and drugs" and alleged "he was insensitive to her disability."
A judge ruled today that ex Beatle PAUL McCARTNEY must pay his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS a whopping $48.6 million in the financial settlement of their divorce, according to theAssociated Press.
After five days of neither party being able to reach an agreement in London's High Court, the judge will decide how much HEATHER MILLS will get from former husband PAUL MCCARTNEY in their divorce settlement. The date for the big reveal is set for March 17, Reuters reports.
Mills has been representing herself in the matter. If either side appeals the decision, the case will be held in open court, opposed to now where the case has been conducted behind closed doors.

The judges gave them straight nines, for a total score of 27 out of 30 points.
CLYDE "The Glide" DREXLER took his last turn on the dance floor Tuesday night, as he and his professional partner, ELENA GRINENKO, were the latest pair to be eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars."
Clyde and Elena were joined in the bottom two this week by HEATHER MILLS and JONATHAN ROBERTS. But Clyde, who received a standing ovation after his elimination, was ever the gentleman in defeat.
