JODIE FOSTER's latest movie, 'The Brave One,' topped the box office this weekend with a haul of $14 million.
The film, about a public radio host (Foster) bent on revenge after her fiance is killed in a brutal attack, co-stars TERRENCE HOWARD, NAVEEN ANDREWS and MARY STEENBURGEN.
When asked about the state of young Hollywood today, former child star JODIE FOSTER -- who began working at age two and received an Oscar nomination at age 14 for 'Taxi Driver' -- had some harsh words for stage mom DINA LOHAN.
"Can I just ask, where is her mother? I mean, really, where is her mother?" Jodie asked Gotham magazine.
HILARY SWANK, whose supernatural thriller 'The Reaping' hits theaters this week, is looking to develop a remake of the French film 'Intimate Strangers' to produce and star in, according to Daily Variety. The 2004 film revolves around a woman who mistakes an accountant for a psychiatrist and confesses her marital troubles to him.

"She's good at trying to keep it all together," Jodie explains about her character. "She does try to go through the logic and say, 'Let's look at the last place you saw her,' so it's not like it's just somebody who has spittle coming out of their mouth and steam out of their ears the whole movie -- I think that would be hard to watch. But she does go through a journey that I think everyone can relate to."
