The Yankees attract star power on and off the field. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys hit it out of the park Thursday night with their collaboration on “Empire State of Mind.” John Legend hit the perfect pitch, singing the national anthem. Avid Yankee supporters Kate Hudson and Rudy Giuliani were also spotted in the stands. In Game Two of the World Series, the Bronx Bombers beat the Phillies 3-1, tying the series at 1-1. The DIXIE CHICKS, MARY J. BLIGE and "American Idol" champ CARRIE UNDERWOOD were among the big winners at the 49th Annual Grammy® Awards Sunday evening at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Chicks were, well, whistlin' Dixie as their Taking the Long Way won for Album of the Year and Best Country Album. The girl group's "Not Ready To Make Nice" also received Grammys for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
