NBC was first out of the box Monday to announce its fall 2006 schedule, which includes four new dramas and two new comedies, and talk up its previously announced new shows the dramas "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," starring MATTHEW PERRY, BRADLEY WHITFORD and AMANDA PEET, and "Kidnapped" starring JEREMY SISTO and DELROY LINDO.
"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," from AARON SORKIN, is a drama about the humor of producing a fictional late-night comedy sketch show, exploring the behind-the-scenes politics and romances. "Kidnapped" is a serial thriller about the abduction of a teenage boy.
