John McCain raised eyebrows with his Paris Hilton/Britney Spears campaign ad comparing Barack Obama to a celebrity. Now, country music star John Rich has joined the political fray and is leading the charge with an all-new anthem inspired by the republican presidential candidate.

The comments about Justin Gaston's good looks came so fast and furious during his "Nashville Star" stay that it was almost as if he wasn't being taken seriously as a musician. The fact that he has been supporting himself as a model also added fuel to the fire. In fact, series host Billy Ray Cyrus went so far as to indicate that the Louisiana-born country crooner's future was actually as an actor.

"Nashville Star" today announced the Top 12 guys and gals who will compete to win the recording contract that comes with the title. "Hannah Montana" star BILLY RAY CYRUS will host the show, which will be judged by JOHN RICH of BIG & RICH, Grammy nominated recording artist JEWEL and award-winning songwriter/producer JEFFREY STEELE.
