Comedian D.L. Hughley is set to launch his own news-geared talk show on CNN, and he says it'll be more like the "Late Show" than a certain Comedy Central fave.

More than two months after the writers strike began, JON STEWART and STEPHEN COLBERT returned to their respective programs on Comedy Central Monday night -- but without their writers.
ET breaks news that JON STEWART will host the 80th Academy Awards telecast, according to producer GIL CATES. This will be Stewart's second stint as master of ceremonies, having hosted the Oscars in 2006.
