It's mogul vs. mogul when "Dallas"' J.R. Ewing (LARRY HAGMAN) meets DONALD TRUMP at the fourth annual "TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV," airing Wednesday, March 22 at 9 p.m.

Actor JOHN RITTER's sudden, tragic passing last week caught the world by surprise, and it left some open-ended questions concerning the fate of his hit ABC sitcom, "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," and what's next for John's real-life family. We have the latest.

ABC has confirmed that the first of three episodes of "8 Simple Rules" that John had completed before his untimely death will premiere next Tuesday as scheduled with special introductions by members of the cast. After the remaining two air, the series will then go into repeats while writers work on how to deal with John's death. When it returns, "8 Simple Rules" will address the star's passing.

Hollywood woke up last Friday morning to the shocking news that 54-year-old JOHN RITTER died Thursday night of a dissection of the aorta, the result of an undiagnosed heart condition. The Emmy-winning actor had taken ill on the set during rehearsals for his sitcom, "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," and been taken to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. He passed away shortly after 10 p.m.

ET learned that HENRY WINKLER and PETER BOGDANOVICH were scheduled to be in that week's "8 Simple Rules" episode, which was in rehearsals last week. In fact, Winkler told ET he was on the set waiting to rehearse a scene with John when a rep from the show told him they believed John had food poisoning and had gone home. Winkler rehearsed the scene with a dialog coach and left. Later, he received a phone call telling him John had died.
