KATE BOSWORTH has just signed on to play the title role in the big-screen adaptation of PAULO COELHO's best-selling book Veronika Decides to Die, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Kate will play a woman who wakes up in a mental institution after a failed suicide attempt, only to to learn that she just has a few days to live due to a weakened heart. The story follows Veronika's recovery as she finds true love and a newfound will to survive.
KEVIN SPACEY will return as the icy supervillain LEX LUTHOR in the upcoming 'Superman Returns' sequel, 'Superman: The Man of Steel,' according to Daily Variety.
