"CSI: Miami" is finishing up its season with a bang as the final episode of the year begins with a huge explosion at a home owned by a member of the Mal Noche gang: Horatio Caine's (DAVID CARUSO) sworn enemies!

"The explosion makes it a little more dynamic, a little more exciting," ADAM RODRIGUEZ, who plays Eric Delko, tells ET. "The explosion ends up pulling a few heartstrings. It also brings the reality of what a lot of these cops face every day -- the fact that something like this can happen at any given moment."

With summer just around the corner, "CSI: Miami" is heating things up on tonight's episode as romantically involved pair Horatio and Marisol move forward in their relationship when they're forced to make a very tough decision.

"We've come a long way in a short period of time," DAVID CARUSO, who plays Horatio, tells ET. "And with Marisol there's a little bit of a complication in that she's pretty ill."

Here comes the gator, baby! "CSI: Miami" is back in the Everglades where an alligator has stolen a body and the crime scene investigators need to get it back, in the special 90-minute "Nothing to Lose" episode, airing tonight, at 9:30 p.m., on CBS.

"We had two alligators and they had to sit in a van until we were ready for them and they were blindfolded," KHANDI ALEXANDER, who plays medical examiner Alexx Woods, explains. "So when they finally brought the gators out and took the blindfolds off, they were not happy, and I had to be out there, pulling the body out of the gator. That was an experience!"
