ROBIN WILLIAMS gets to show off his serious side when he appears on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" next month. Guest starring on the show's 200th episode, set to air April 29 and titled "Authority," he'll play an engineer whose out-of-control life lands him in trouble, a series rep tells the Associated Press.
Lest fans of the actor/funnyman forget, Williams' launched his acting career on television playing the otherworldly title character in "Mork and Mindy." But he's earned the most critical acclaim for his dramatic performances, winning in 1998 the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 'Good Will Hunting,' as well as garnering Oscar noms in 'The Fisher King' (1991), 'Dead Poets Society' (1989) and 'Good Morning Vietnam' (1987).
