Robert Buckley, who has had back-to-back roles on NBC's "Lipstick Jungle," opposite Kim Raver, and on Lifetime TV's "Flirting with 40" TV movie, as Heather Locklear's younger boyfriend, is joining the cast of The CW's "Privileged."

NBC will only be adding four new shows to its schedule this fall: "My Own Worst Enemy" starring CHRISTIAN SLATER, "Kath & Kim," an Australian import starring MOLLY SHANNON and SELMA BLAIR, "Knight Rider," which was introduced as a two-hour movie, and "Crusoe."
Fans of "Friday Night Lights" can rest easy. Despite the critically acclaimed show's so-so ratings, it is returning, but not until the winter. It will first air on DirecTV, as part of a special deal that NBC made in order to continue producing new episodes of the series.
When KIM RAVER signed on to star as Nico Reilly, editor-in-chief of a hot fashion magazine with an eye toward becoming CEO on "Lipstick Jungle," she had no idea she would soon be expecting. So, the former "24" star gave birth to her second child, a son, last October, and had to deal with her pregnancy weight while shooting the show about three high-powered women in Manhattan, who are dressed to the nines.
"Lipstick Jungle," is based on the novel by "Sex and the City" author CANDACE BUSHNELL and premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on NBC.
BROOKE SHIELDS is one woman who appears to have it all. She is married to writer/producer CHRIS HENCHY, has two daughters and a successful career as an actress and an author.
NBC announced their new fall schedule today, with several new shows added to the network's weekly line-up.
"Sex and the City" scribe CANDACE BUSHNELL returns to the tube with "Lipstick Jungle," a new series starring BROOKE SHIELDS, based on Bushnell's best-selling novel. The series, which debuts midseason after football wraps, will revolve around the lives of three of New York's most powerful women, played by Brooke, "24" star KIM RAVER and "90210" alum LINDSAY PRICE.
The "Desperate Housewives" spent a night in the "lipstick jungle" at a special soiree for author CANDACE BUSHNELL (writer of the famed "Sex and the City" newspaper columns).
The Tuesday night event was hosted by La Mer skincare, and was all about celebrating Bushnell's brand new book, Lipstick Jungle, out September 6.
