"Dancing with the Stars" turned 100 on Tuesday, May 6, and the show partied at the Day After nightclub in Hollywood, following the elimination of the eighth couple -- MARIO and KARINA SMIRNOFF.
"Dancing with the Stars" celebrated its 100th episode on Tuesday night, but the show wasn't all fun and games, as contestant MARIO got the bad news that he'd been voted out of the competition.
The R&B star and partner KARINA SMIRNOFF took the news well, with Mario saying, "I've had a great time performing on this show, I have a great partner."
"Dancing with the Stars" turns 100 on Tuesday, May 6, and the show will celebrate with the return of several of its alum. Season four champs APOLO ANTON OHNO and JULIANNE HOUGH will perform an all-new dance, as will season five finalists MEL B. and MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY.
Hollywood.tv spots EVA LONGORIA PARKER leaving the KEN PAVES salon Wednesday where she got primped and pampered just hours before stepping out to celebrate her 33rd birthday with some of her most famous friends, including SHERYL CROW, MARIO LOPEZ, and MARCIA CROSS.
The Miss America Pageant is moving to TLC in a multi-year telecast agreement brokered by the William Morris Agency, with a new reality show airing the behind-the-scenes action leading up to the big event.
"We're thrilled to partner with the Miss America Organization and to broadcast the next generation of the Miss America Pageant," says TLC President and General Manager ANGELA SHAPIRO-MATHES.

Before wowing 'em in white at her Saturday wedding, new bride EVA LONGORIA was more than just pretty in pink as she donned a short, breezy CHANEL dress with striped pink, black and white straps as she entered a Parisian town hall for her civil ceremony to TONY PARKER on Friday.
Now that dress can be yours for a sliver of what Eva paid for the couture number -- thanks to A.B.S and ALLEN SCHWARTZ.
She may be a "Desperate Housewife" on TV, but in real life, EVA LONGORIA is anything but! ET has the latest news on Eva's fairytale French wedding to basketball star TONY PARKER last weekend, and what they're up to now! And on tonight's ET, we'll have their official wedding photo, including Eva's glorious ANGEL SANCHEZ gown, courtesy of OK! magazine.
Sadly for the newlyweds, there's no time for a honeymoon! A day after their "I do's" at the Saint Germain L'Auxerrois cathedral in France, Tony and Eva were spotted at the Miami airport. Sources tell us the happy couple will reportedly not be honeymooning right away, because Eva must return to the "Desperate Housewives" set.
After exchanging vows in front of close friends and family Saturday in Paris, newlyweds EVA LONGORIA and TONY PARKER moved on to a glamorous reception at the Chateau de Vaux le Vicomte and many of Eva's "Desperate Housewives" co-stars crossed the pond for the posh celebration!
The Saint Germain L'Auxerrois cathedral in France was filled with celebrity guests for the pretty pair's "I do's", including "Housewives" TERI HATCHER (wearing a blue BADGLEY MISCHKA couture gown with beaded details), whose date was daughter EMERSON, NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN, in a gorgeous, strapless pink frock, BRENDA STRONG and FELICITY HUFFMAN who was there with hubby WILLIAM H. MACY. But new mom MARCIA CROSS remained stateside to care for her twin daughters.
EVA LONGORIA and TONY PARKER enjoyed their first reception dinner as husband and wife on Friday at Baccarat restaurant in Paris with members of their wedding party, including good pal MARIO LOPEZ, his date KARINA SMIRNOFF and groomsman THIERRY HENRY among the special guests in attendance. Eva wore a gorgeous lace, cream-colored dress for the occasion, while her new hubby looked dapper in a pin-striped suit.
"I am beyond thrilled and ecstatic to have taken the first step with the civil ceremony today," Eva told OK! magazine. "I wanted it to be as special as possible and was honored to wear CHANEL couture. It was a dream come true in every sense of the word. I felt like a princess! And of course, tomorrow is the big day. Tony and I cannot wait to share this special time with our family and friends."
As the Big Day approaches, "Desperate Housewives" star EVA LONGORIA and her basketball fiance TONY PARKER are nailing down the final preparations for their sumptuous Saturday nuptials in France, and ET has the all wedding dish!
ET confirms that elegant designer COLE HAAN will be outfitting Tony and his bridal party -- which includes 9 groomsman and he and Eva's fathers -- in custom-made black patent leather shoes and black calf leather belts.
"Desperate Housewives" star EVA LONGORIA will be putting on her dancing shoes for "The 2007 Alma Awards," airing Tuesday, June 5, at 9 p.m. on ABC. Eva, who is also the host and executive producer of the awards show, will partner with her co-host MARIO LOPEZ for a number with the "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancers KARINA SMIRNOFF, MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY and CHERYL BURKE.
"The most challenging part is time," says Eva. "We actually don't have a lot of time to rehearse. Thank God, Mario is pretty much a natural dancer. And we have an amazing [coach in] Karina. To work with her and sneak in some rehearsals, that has been the biggest challenge. Mario's [being] a natural dancer has been a tremendous help."

BILLY RAY CYRUS may have launched a dance craze with the release of "Achy Breaky Heart," but the singer/actor admits that he has never danced a day in his life!
"I would skip our proms and homecoming dances in high school, because I always felt bashful and embarrassed to get up in front of people and move around and dance," Cyrus tells ET correspondent THEA ANDREWS, who visited the "Hannah Montana" star at his top-secret rehearsal studio. "If I went to a dance with my high school girlfriend, then we would just dance to the slow songs. I would never get up and dance in front of people, which is why it is so crazy that I am doing this."
"Dancing with the Stars" runner-up MARIO LOPEZ has been set to host the "2007 Miss America Pageant," airing live from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, January 29, at 8 p.m on CMT. JENNIFER BERRY of Oklahoma, the current Miss America, will crown her successor.
"Mario Lopez is a fantastic choice to host the '2007 Miss America Pageant.' With his soaring popularity, his former hosting experience and his undeniable charm, he will certainly excel as this year's host," says SARAH BROCK, CMT executive producer and vice president, production, music and events."

After 10 weeks of competition, America voted, and the disco-ball trophy went to EMMITT SMITH and CHERYL BURKE, this year's "Dancing with the Stars" champions.
It was a close vote, but it was left up to America to make the final decision when the judges awarded tie scores to Emmit and Cheryl, and MARIO LOPEZ and KARINA SMIRNOFF at the end of Tuesday night's competition.

Tuesday night was the final night of the "Dancing with the Stars" competition, as the football hero went toe-to-toe with the dimpled heartthrob -- and when Team Emmitt didn't receive a perfect score on their freestyle dance, it was no holds barred!
"You tell me what went wrong ... you tell me what went wrong," he asks backstage after receiving a 9 from judge BRUNO TONIOLI.
