On the season finale of "Medium," airing Monday, May 12 at 10 p.m. on NBC, psychic Allison's (PATRICIA ARQUETTE) attempt to ease a young couple’s concerns that their "dream home" is haunted leads to unexpected misery and murder, while her husband Joe (JAKE WEBER) must deal with an altogether different threat -- sexy guest star KELLY PRESTON!
"'Medium' really, truthfully, is my favorite show," Kelly tells ET. "My husband [JOHN TRAVOLTA] loves it as well. But my kids -- well at least my youngest, she's a little spooked, I think."
NBC put "Medium" on a short hiatus at the beginning of the fall season, but now the series about real-life psychic ALLISON DuBOIS, played by PATRICIA ARQUETTE, is back, but on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m., instead of its former Monday night timeslot.
Fans can look forward to a variety of episodes this season. There will be those that revolve around what happens uniquely in Allison's head; and there will be those that are about external events to which she is privy by dint of her psychic gift. One thing they won't be seeing is stories adapted from events in the lives of other psychics. Creator GLENN GORDON CARON and Patricia both agree they want to keep the series pure Allison.
DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT trades in his Navy duds from "JAG" for a nice suit and tie, when he guest stars on the season finale of "Medium," airing Monday, May 22 at 10 p.m.
"I want to work with all the ARQUETTES," says David, who is playing PATRICIA ARQUETTE's husband in the episode. "I worked with DAVID, Patricia and ROSANNA, and then I am on to the 'Surreal Life' with ALEXIS," he jokes.
When Allison Dubois (PATRICIA ARQUETTE) begins to see the Angel of Death on Monday night's episode of "Medium," airing on NBC at 10 p.m., he looks remarkably like KELSEY GRAMMER, who just happens to be an executive producer of the series and is coming out from behind the camera for a one-time appearance.
"My character's name is Bob Sherman," Kelsey tells ET on the set of the show about a psychic and her family. "He is also known as the Angel of Death. I think you go with a sort of charming, necessary fellow. He is part of the world order. Always has been; always will be. He helps people who have stopped evolving get back into the game and move on to the next plane. I see him as a very positive person or entity. He has assumed a form in this show as an insurance salesman."
Amazing psychic intuitive CHAR MARGOLIS gets an unexpected meltdown from original supermodel JANICE DICKINSON during a reading on the next "Psychic at Large," and only ET has a sneak peek!
"I think the reading had helped Janice release some emotion that she had held in for some time," says Char.
JAMES VAN PRAAGH, the man behind "Ghost Whisperer," and CHAR MARGOLIS, internationally renowned psychic intuitive, are about to do the unthinkable... For the first time on television, they will expose the side of Hollywood the stars never let you see!
"James and I explore the afterlife from the grave and beyond," says Char. "Famous people talking to their lost loved ones, and oh, so much more!"
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT helps the dead cross over to the other side in "Ghost Whisperer," the newest Friday night hit of the fall season!
On tonight's episode, "Mended Hearts" -- airing at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS -- a woman in Andrea's (AISHA TYLER) apartment building attempts to commit suicide. When Melinda (Hewitt) and Jim (DAVID CONRAD) intervene, Melinda discovers that the woman is being haunted by her fiancé, who was killed in a triathalon bike accident and is still very much in love with her.
Have you ever wanted to contact loved ones on "the other side"? Psychic medium REBECCA ROSEN mesmerizes clients and audiences with her stunning ability to connect the world of the living with the world of the dead, and our own JANN CARL is with this unique woman to get a personal reading -- and find out what she thinks of JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT's hit CBS show, "Ghost Whisperer."
"Her character has a lot of compassion and she's in it for the right reasons; her intention is to bring about some peace and love and healing," Rebecca tells Jann. "One of the main differences I've found is that the character is very, very hesitant on outwardly and openly sharing, 'I am a medium and this is what I do.' She tries to hide it and cover it up. Whereas with me, I am a medium, and if you don't like that, you don't like that; but if you love that, great, and here's what I have to say and share with you."
In her brand-new series, JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT talks to dead people. "Ghost Whisperer," airing Fridays on CBS at 8 p.m., inspired by the work of famed medium JAMES VAN PRAAGH, is the story of Melinda Gordon (Jennifer), who has the ability to communicate with earthbound spirits and help them find their way into their next life. Of course, the messages aren't always clear, causing those she comes into contact with to doubt her, but even in her darkest moments, she never doubts that what she is doing is a blessing, not a curse.
Jennifer is quick to point out to ET's MARK STEINES that she doesn't have the ability to talk to dead people, but she believes James does.
