After shattering records in the U.S., 'The Dark Knight' takes London by storm and the ET is there on the red carpet!
Christian Bale, who plays the title role in the latest Batman installment, said that while he was somewhat surprised at the movie's record-breaking success, the reaction shows the film truly measures up to the hype.
FROM THE RED CARPET: We are with a white hot DEMI MOORE at the New York premiere of her brand new drama, 'Flawless.' Moore talks about reuniting with old pal MICHAEL CAINE for the film, in theaters March 28.
Mankind faces the reality of early extinction and reluctant hero CLIVE OWEN may be the key to the world's survival in the futuristic thriller 'Children of Men,' in theaters now.
"When you start shooting and you realize there's no one cast under 20, it's a weird thing to take on," Clive tells ET about the project.
In the new InStyle, on newsstands this Friday, several Oscar® winners, from GEENA DAVIS to MICHAEL CAINE, open up about the big night and where they keep their golden statuettes!
Geena won the Best Supporting Actress statuette for 'The Accidental Tourist' in 1988 and keeps it in her L.A. residence. "Recently I passed by my Oscar at home and noticed that my husband [REZA JARRAHY, a surgeon] had placed a research award he won right next to it," she says. "I just love that."
The weather isn't the only unpredicatable element in NIC CAGE's movie life -- as the Oscar winner ventures into the wet and weary world of one particular 'Weather Man.'
Cage told ET at the N.Y. premiere of the film that he based his character on a number of different weather men: "I grew up in Los Angeles and out there the weather man is a different kind of person than in Chicago and New York. Here the weather is a major factor -- it can be a life or death situation sometimes. In L.A., we have more disasters than seasons, so it is a different thing!"
The legendary superhero Batman is reborn in the form of CHRISTIAN BALE in 'Batman Begins,' director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN's dark interpretation of the birth of Gotham City's Dark Knight. The film, which delves into the conflicted mind of Bruce Wayne, led the box-office over the weekend with $26.8 million, bringing its total to $121.7 million. ET is with Christian to find out just what makes his character tick -- and what it was like to don that high-tech Batsuit!
"My understanding is that I was lucky that I had the most lightweight Batsuit ever," Christian tells our own MARK STEINES. "That's not to say the thing was not like an oven, but I had a much easier time than anybody in the past."
Veteran actress SHIRLEY MacLAINE is stirring up trouble playing NICOLE KIDMAN's onscreen mother in the all-new big-screen version of 'Bewitched,' in theaters June 24. But is the Oscar® winner for 'Terms of Endearment' the definition of a true diva?
"If you're not a diva by the time you're 71, there's something wrong with you," Shirley tells our own MARK STEINES. "I'm a bit of a diva. I really like efficiency and I like things to be done to the best of someone's ability. Everyone thinks I'm a witch diva anyway!"
Funnyman WILL FERRELL hooks up with NICOLE KIDMAN on the big screen this summer in 'Bewitched,' an all-new update of the hit '60s TV show originally starring ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY as Samantha opposite DICK YORK (and later DICK SARGENT) as hapless husband Darrin Stephens.
We're with Will to get the goods on making the "re-imagined" feature -- and working with Nicole!
Starting on June 24, NICOLE KIDMAN will have audiences 'Bewitched' by her new comedy with WILL FERRELL, and ET caught up with the saucy Aussie to get her take on the all-new, big-screen "re-imagining" of the hit '60s TV show!
"I think the idea of doing a romantic comedy that was based on 'Bewitched' but still had something new," she says of why she took the role. "Then, being able to work with NORA [EPHRON] and work with Will..."

The Dark Knight returns to the big screen this summer with 'Batman Begins,' in theaters everywhere June 15, and ET has your exclusive first look behind the scenes of the new movie!
"He is a superhero, but the only superhero without any superpowers whatsoever; he is just a man," says CHRISTIAN BALE ('The Machinist,' 'Reign of Fire'), the newest actor to put on the famous comic book hero's cape and cowl in this dark, straightforward tale of how young industrial heir Bruce Wayne first transforms into Batman.
The prolific NICOLE KIDMAN has mastered everything from belting out ballads in 'Moulin Rouge' to becoming VIRGINIA WOOLF for 'The Hours.' Now, the Oscar® winner has perfected ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY's famous "Bewitched" nose twitch for her role in the highly anticipated big-screen version of the beloved 1960s sitcom!
"Everyone just kept telling me I looked so much like Elizabeth Montgomery," laughs Nicole, "so that was the first thing that got me interested. And then I watched the series as a little girl -- almost every episode. It was on at 6 o'clock in Australia, and I loved it."
Handsome JUDE LAW is on fire with a red-hot career -- and with the ladies as well -- in his new flick 'Alfie,' a re-creation of the 1966 MICHAEL CAINE favorite, in theaters Nov. 5!
"It's one of those films that takes place in the world of relationships, which is always relevant," Jude tells ET. "But Alfie's way of thinking, strangely enough, still has a place in all of us, even more than with just the male species."
