BRIAN BONSALL, 25, was arrested in Boulder, Colorado on Wednesday and is being held on $5,000 bond. He was charged with false imprisonment and second-degree assault.
Bonsall was charged with assaulting his girlfriend, who told police he poured an alcoholic drink on her face while she slept, put her in a choke hold and threw her onto a bed. He is claiming he pushed her in self-defense after she cut him with a steak knife -- a claim she denies.
In the weeks leading up to the recent national midterm elections, MICHAEL J. FOX spoke out in favor of political candidates who support stem cell research. Now, the actor-turned-advocate is sending a message thanking politicians for their support, and shares his hopes for the future.

Fox, who has been battling Parkinsons disease for over a decade, clearly displays symptoms of his condition during the commercial spot.
