ET has confirmed that "Project Runway" judge and fashion designer Michael Kors is joining the teen ranks of The CW's guilty pleasure, "Gossip Girl," for one hot night this fall. Michael appears as himself during a New York Fashion Week episode the show recently taped.

"I think [the quality of design] is getting more sophisticated and more professional," Heidi says of the third season hopefuls. "The contestants are saying when they come to the auditions, 'We are real designers and we need someone to see us. We are in a small town and no one sees us.' They see how big 'Project Runway' has become and it's real. They want to use this as a platform."
The second season premiere of "Project Runway," airing Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on Bravo, debuted with triple the audience of the first season. It is definitely a hit for Bravo, but even so, HEIDI KLUM, the host and executive producer talked to ET to help promote the second season.
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT: Often in the second season contestants on a reality series tend to be a little more aggressive or arrogant than the people who tried out the first season. Is that something we are going to see this season?
