The twelve "Dancing with the Stars" contestants took to the ballroom floor for either the mambo or the quickstep on this week's competition show. It was a stressful night for the celebs, because tomorrow night not one, but two couples will be sent home: The male star with the lowest number of combined votes, and the female star at the bottom of the point total.

"Dancing With The Stars" hopeful and tennis great MONICA SELES is working on a memoir, according to Associated Press. The 34-year-old athlete said in a statement that she wants "to share how I found balance, strength and happiness in my life after a rollercoaster ride of exhilarating accomplishment and sometimes overwhelming tragedy."

Last night, the newbie men of the sixth season of "Dancing with the Stars" took to the stage, and tonight it was the ladies' turn!

SHANNON ELIZABETH and DEREK HOUGH were the first to take the stage on Wednesday night with their cha cha cha, setting the bar with a score of 21. Judge LEN GOODMAN called it a "great start" but warned Shannon to keep her "legs exactly right." Judge BRUNO TONIOLI said she had "great natural extension," while judge CARRIE ANN INABA said she had "great energy" and "great confidence," but cautioned, "I would say work on your flexibility."

STEVE GUTTENBERG and MONICA SELES were in a great mood on Friday as they chatted up their upcoming debuts on "Dancing with the Stars."

"I never set a foot in a dance studio," Monica admits to ET. "The first two weeks were really rough. I was trying to come up with ways to get out of it -- fake an injury -- but the last few days, I am enjoying it and having a lot of fun."
