"I would tell no one until I felt safe enough to share my dark past," OPRAH says in the February issue of O magazine, which is on stands now. "The years I was sexually abused, from age 10 to 14, my resulting promiscuity as a teenager, and finally, at 14, my becoming pregnant."

Oprah says she was so ashamed that she hid the pregnancy until her growing belly and swollen ankles revealed the truth. Oprah gave birth to the baby, but it sadly died in the hospital weeks after it was born.

The twists and turns get wilder and wilder in the JOHN MARK KARR story, as news broke on Monday that the DNA found on JONBENET RAMSEY's body does not match a sample of DNA obtained from Karr. In a bold turn of events since his reported confession to the crime to Thai officials, prosecutors are not planning to file any charges against Karr in connection with the Ramsey case.

"The warrant against Mr. Karr has been dropped by the district attorney," Karr's state-appointed public defense attorney, Seth Temin, told reporters. "They are not proceeding with the case."

After a long, strange trip from Thailand to Los Angeles, Karr is now in Boulder, CO, so he can face his legal fate. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday afternoon.

After touching down in a Colorado State Patrol airplane on Thursday, the 41-year-old was led in shackles on the tarmac by authorities to a waiting black SUV a little after 5 p.m. local time to be processed. Stoic and saying nothing, he wore a burgundy button-down shirt and dark tie.
