From band geeks to cheerleaders, and from class clowns to jocks, the youth of America turned out en masse for the opportunity to audition for ABC's hot summer reality show, "High School Musical: Get In the Picture," hosted by NICK LACHEY and premiering Sunday, July 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
New video: The night before the horses took to the track for the 134th annual Kentucky Derby, ET was at the legendary Barnstable Brown pre-race soiree, where we caught up with LARRY BIRKHEAD, HEIDI MONTAG and SPENCER PRATT, JERRY O'CONNELL, JOEY FATONE, NICK LACHEY and HUGH HEFNER. The party benefited diabetes research.
NICK LACHEY, who will host the upcoming ABC summer reality series, "High School Musical: Summer Session," was on hand on Sunday, April 27 to greet the long line of hopefuls who turned out at the Long Beach Arena.
The hunt will be on for a new "High School Musical" star when NICK LACHEY takes the reins as host of a new ABC reality show.
"High School Musical: Summer Session" debuts Sunday, July 20 at 8 p.m. EST. The series will chronicle the search for the newest cast member of the hit movie series. 'High School Musical 3,' which will be the first 'HSM' movie to hit the big screen, is currently in production.
NICK LACHEY has offered up a new reality series to MTV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the former "Newlyweds" star has brought to the network an unscripted musical drama that is being described as a reality version of "Fame."
The stars flocked to Arizona for Super Bowl week, and once there, they got their fashion fix at Moody Blues Boutique! A number of celebs including NICK LACHEY, JOEY FATONE, WYCLEF JEAN and SNOOP DOGG spent hours shopping at the franchise's Scottsdale and Chandler locations. And as they found out, Moody Blues Boutique combines old-world essence with the best of rock and roll culture!
NICK LACHEY tells ET his "thoughts and prayers" are with BRITNEY SPEARS and her family. He also says he hopes that "she comes out of this on the other side a better person." ET met up with Nick at the "Super Thursday with P. DIDDY and Nick Lachey" event in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Fox News' report that NICK LACHEY planned to marry sweetheart VANESSA MINNILLO in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas this weekend is not true, Nick's reps tell ET.
As of Saturday, Nick was in Cincinnati, Ohio, working on NBC's upcoming reality show "Clash of the Choirs" and on an MTV show he is producing, his reps tells us.
Star couple NICK LACHEY and VANESSA MINNILLO re-affirm their love and blast the tabloids in the new issue of OK! magazine, on stands Friday. The two are speaking out in response to semi-nude photos of them taken on vacation, which recently surfaced in the tabloids.
"This is the girl that I love," Nick tells the mag. "It's tough to see someone you care about be unfairly judged. It's hard for me as a man to see my girl go through that. Everybody said it was a scandal. Where's the scandal? I was in Mexico with my girlfriend of a year, celebrating our anniversary on a private vacation. It's not like I was caught with a Mexican hooker."

Forget the JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE rumors! Video vixen Scarlett is now being linked to 'Van Wilder' and 'Just Friends' funnyman RYAN REYNOLDS. Tabloids say the two were spotted together over the Easter weekend. Reports say they were out at Manhattan restaurant Odeon on Saturday night and then partying with a group of friends the next day for brunch at the Carlyle Hotel. Ryan is reportedly single after splitting from fiancée, singer ALANIS MORISSETTE, in February. They dated for two years.
