10) DON'T "HASSEL" THE HOFF!

Like many Hollywood unions that fall apart, the split often provides more sparks than the marriage itself. DAVID HASSELHOFF filed for divorce from his estranged wife, PAMELA BACH, on January 12, and she responded with her own filing the very next day. Both parties made claims against the other -- Pamela cited physical abuse, while David made claims that Pamela was abusing prescription and illegal drugs. Both parties categorically denied the others' claims.

On March 6, a judge ordered David to stay 100 yards away from Pamela except for peaceful contacts related to court-ordered visitations. The bitter separation between Hasselhoff and Bach led to a final custody agreement arranged by the court in May, detailing joint custody of their two daughters, TAYLOR-ANN and HAYLEY AMBER.

MARTIN SCORSESE has just signed a four-year, first-look deal with Paramount Pictures, Paramount CEO BRAD GREY announced today.

Scorsese's latest film, 'The Departed,' crossed the $100 million mark domestically last weekend, and has grossed over $150 million worldwide, making it the renowned director's highest-grossing film to date. The crime drama stars LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, MATT DAMON and JACK NICHOLSON.

The TOM CRUISE / Paramount Studios break-up debacle is heating up and the issue now turns to money as the 'Mission: Impossible 3' star and his fiancée KATIE HOLMES are doing business as usual.

RACHAEL RAY has stirred up a new deal with daytime talk queen OPRAH WINFREY! The likable cook/TV host/best-selling author is set to take on a daily, hourlong talk show produced by Oprah's Harpo Productions.

"People know me for my love of food, but I have so much more I want to share," Ray said. "Our show's going to be all about taking a bigger bite out of life. I want people to see themselves in this show, because life is full of messes and successes, and getting there is half the fun."
