One day prior to the 80th Annual Academy Awards, the stars aligned in Santa Monica to celebrate the top indie films of the last year at the Film Independent Spirit Awards -- and ET's THEA ANDREWS was there!

In a tribute to HEATH LEDGER, the departed star's peers dedicated awards to him at the ceremony. Accepting for Best Supporting Female Actor in their BOB DYLAN ensemble flick 'I'm Not There,' Heath's co-star CATE BLANCHETT said, "Heath Ledger...this is for him."
