President Bush's former press secretary Tony Snow lost his battle with colon cancer on Saturday. He was 53.

"America has lost a devoted public servant and a man of character," Bush said in a statement from Camp David. "It was a joy to watch Tony at the podium each day. He brought wit, grace, and a great love of country to his work."

Mourners have begun arriving at the public wake for late NBC newsman TIM RUSSERT, which is taking place today at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH and the first lady have arrived at the school, where Russert's son LUKE graduated in 2004. Luke, along with his mother and Tim's wife of 25 years, MAUREEN ORTH, greeted mourners, which included PHIL DONAHUE, ABC's GEORGE WILL, California First Lady MARIA SHRIVER and actress SUSAN SAINT JAMES. In the weeks leading up to the recent national midterm elections, MICHAEL J. FOX spoke out in favor of political candidates who support stem cell research. Now, the actor-turned-advocate is sending a message thanking politicians for their support, and shares his hopes for the future.

"Now that the dust of the election is beginning to settle, I want to thank candidates across the political spectrum who took the time to learn about -- and support -- embryonic stem cell research," Fox said in a statement to ET.

A film that depicts the fictional assassination of President George W. Bush will soon be seen here in the U.S.

The fictional drama, 'Death of a President,' mixes archival footage with narrative elements, and focuses on the assassination of President Bush in the style of a retrospective documentary. The movie, which quickly became one of the most talked about movies from the Toronto Film Festival, has sold distribution rights to Newmarket Films. Newmarket also distributed the controversial 'Passion of the Christ.'

Just today, the Toronto International Film Festival released new details about the film. Previously referred to as 'D.O.A.P.,' the film's actual title is 'Death of a President.'
