Prince made history Saturday night, playing three concerts in one night in Los Angeles. The Purple One used the multi-complex L.A. LIVE for his record-making performances. The Nokia Theatre, Conga Room, and Club Nokia each saw over an hour of action from the seven-time Grammy winner. The stars were out in full force to support the innovative artist as he continued his forward-thinking promotion of his latest studio work. Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, Keith Richards, and Chaka Khan were all rumored to be in attendance. When the legendary PRINCE, who just turned 50, throws a party, the stars turn out in force, Jet magazine reports in its issue on newsstands Monday. His royal purple-ness celebrated the release of his first book, 21 Nights, in style with a private party and a concert at his home in Los Angeles. The guests for the A-list bash included DIDDY, SYLVESTER STALLONE, BABYFACE, EDDIE MURPHY, CHRISTINA MILIAN and Dr. PHIL and ROBIN McGRAW.

Hollywood ventured East this weekend, as celebs traveled to the Coachella Music Festival in the desert near Palm Springs, CA.
Celebs including DAVID HASSELHOFF, SHIA LaBEOUF, KELLY OSBOURNE, ALICIA SILVERSTONE, BUSY PHILIPPS, DANNY MASTERSON, ELIJAH WOOD, PINK, STEVEN TYLER, ROSANNA ARQUETTE and more were spotted at the festival, taking in performances by such notables as PRINCE and JACK JOHNSON. ROGER WATERS of PINK FLOYD is set to perform Sunday night.

PRINCE wowed a tiny, exclusive crowd on Saturday -- which included stars like DIDDY, HILARY SWANK and PENÉLOPE CRUZ -- as His Purpleness rocked out at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.
