Film actor MICHAEL RAPAPORT will be adding some star power to the FOX drama "Prison Break," The Hollywood Reporter reports. He will play a government agent who makes an offer to Michael (WENTWORTH MILLER) and his brother (DOMINIC PURCELL).
With three seasons of "Prison Break" under their belts, Michael (WENTWORTH MILLER) and Linc (DOMINIC PURCELL) have now broken out of prisons in both the U.S. and Mexico -- and lived to tell about it.
Former "Prison Break" star LANE GARRISON has been transferred to a downtown Los Angeles jail from a jail in Chino, CA, where he'd been held since early August.
After an emotional breakdown in court today, actor LANE GARRISON was ordered into Los Angeles Sheriff's custody for 90 days of diagnostic evaluation by parole officers and psychologists.
A judge assigned TV's former "Prison Break" star to this short stint to help determine what his final sentence should be.
Get ready to set your TiVo®'s, because November sweeps have begun and that means lots of special programming by the networks! Look for several new shows launching this month, lots of specials and plenty of primo guest stars. Here's a rundown of what will be available for your viewing pleasure:
"Prison Break," starring WENTWORTH MILLER and DOMINIC PURCELL, was a breakout hit for FOX in its first season. So two weeks before it returns for its sophomore year, the "Prison Break" Season One DVD will be released to stores in hopes of building a new group of fans prior to the launch of its second year.
"I am hoping we experience the same kind of bump that '24' did," Wentworth says of the ratings increase "24" received that has been attributed to the release of its first season DVD just prior to the launch of its second season. "The first season of '24,' a few people turned in late, missed the first few episodes and couldn't catch up, so they waited until season two to really get into it. I hope 'Prison Break' has a little bit of the same dynamic."
"Prison Break" is a different series for its second season, with 95 percent of the show being shot on locations in and around Dallas, TX. The inmates are out and running for their freedom. And while their lives will still intertwine to some degree, as several of the escapees are after D.B. COOPER's $5 million, the convicts will spread out as they face their individual fates.
There are only two more episodes until the inmates on "Prison Break" make their escape, but there are still a lot of twists and turns before the season one finale. And, according to series star DOMINIC PURCELL, who plays convicted killer Lincoln Burrows, the question isn't who makes it over the wall, rather who will be left behind -- and who will leave the prison in a body bag!
We've learned that Nick Savrinn (FRANK GRILLO) is the mole in the defense team, leaking the oh-so-important clues that Veronica (ROBIN TUNNEY), Lincoln's attorney, has uncovered. Now the question remains: Will Dr. Sara (SARAH WAYNE CALLIES) help Michael (WENTWORTH MILLER) or betray him? After all is said and done, she is the governor's daughter.
Michael Scofield's (WENTWORTH MILLER) brother Lincoln Burrows (DOMINIC PURCELL) is on death row and scheduled to be electrocuted in a few months' time for a crime that Michael believes he was framed. So what's a brother to do when all the legal options have been exercised?
Michael commits a crime that gets him sent to the same prison as his brother, but before he unsuccessfully attempts to rob a bank, he gets a very complicated tattoo that is the key to getting Lincoln a "get out of jail" card, although not a legal one. It is going to be a "Prison Break."
The launch of the fall TV season marks the end of the big summer of reality series, so pop the popcorn, park yourself on the sofa, grab the remote and get ready for the new season of scripted dramas.
"With all the new shows coming out, there are a lot of great shows coming up that remind us there is great writing in television," says DEBRA BIRNBAUM, executive editor of Inside TV.
