Country music superstars Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift will take the stage in Nashville to perform at the CMT Awards and they will be joined by more of your favorite country stars!
ET has learned that RASCAL FLATTS has been confirmed to perform in Disney's upcoming 'Hannah Montana: The Movie.'
In other Rascal Flatts news, guitarist JOE DON ROONEY and his wife, TIFFANY FALLON, a former Playboy Playmate, are the proud new parents of their first child, a son named JAGGER DONOVAN ROONEY. The baby was born on Saturday, it was reported by the Associated Press.
As the last Tuesday to release an album for 2008 Grammy contention fell on September 25th, it's no wonder that music's biggest stars released albums recently, to the satisfaction of music lovers worldwide.
It was a chance meeting in a florist's shop that led MARCIA CROSS to her true love, but it was also because the "Desperate Housewives" star took charge of the situation!
"I never even saw his face," Marcia reveals on ABC's "InStyle Celebrity Weddings," premiering tonight at 10 p.m. "I was just drawn to this person. I asked the shopkeeper who he was and she said, 'Nobody.' In Los Angeles, that means not an actor. I was about to walk away when she said, 'Do you want to leave your number?'"
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, ABC is getting romantic by presenting the big star weddings of 2006 on "InStyle Celebrity Weddings," premiering Monday, Feb. 5 at 10 p.m.
The special will feature exclusive wedding videos and interviews with the stars and their wedding planners, taking viewers inside the making of these special events, from the selection of the gorgeous wedding gowns to the exotic locations.
RYAN SEACREST is best known as the host of "American Idol," but for the past several years he has also been a part of a New Year's tradition: "DICK CLARK's New Year's Rockin' Eve."
Seacrest began co-hosting the New Year's TV special, now in its 35th year, in 2005, a year after Clark suffered a stroke. Clark, of course, returned as the host of the show last year, and he will be back again this year.
BEYONCÉ rocked while JOSH GROBAN crooned. The stars lit up the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles Tuesday night for the 34th Annual American Music Awards, and our KEVIN FRAZIER was front, back and center for the A-list event!
NICOLE RICHIE, the cast of "Grey's Anatomy," TAYE DIGGS and MARIO LOPEZ of "Dancing with the Stars" fame were just a few of the celebs who took the stage to hand out the 20 awards representing the best in Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin, Alternative, Adult Contemporary and Contemporary Inspirational music.
The Country Music Association (CMA) Awards nominees have been announced, and "American Idol" winner CARRIE UNDERWOOD scored four noms for her Some Hearts album!
Leading the field of nominees with six noms each were BRAD PAISLEY and BROOKS & DUNN. NICOLE KIDMAN's new hubby KEITH URBAN and KENNY CHESNEY each garnered four noms.
The "Christmas in Washington" concert is a tradition that began 24 years ago, and this year the gala event is hosted by Dr. PHIL McGRAW and his lovely wife ROBIN. This is the second time for the McGraws, who had the same honor last year. Once again, the hour-long holiday concert will be attended by President GEORGE W. BUSH and First Lady LAURA BUSH.
"Laura and I have really enjoyed the program tonight," President Bush addressed the crowd at the conclusion of the evening. "We want to thank the entertainers for wonderful performances."
Earlier this week "American Idol" judge SIMON COWELL predicted that someone with long hair would become the next "Idol," and he was right: CARRIE UNDERWOOD won the title in a record-breaking vote -- over 500 million ballots were cast, an unprecedented feat in the pop music series' history.
One of the country cutie's first stops after winning the crown was ET, where she told MARY HART, "Right before RYAN SEACREST announced the winner, I thought about peeking at the little gold card, but I thought, 'No, I might not want to see what is on it.' So I looked at the crowd and held my breath.
It has been a long, tough competition, but the end is in sight. Tonight is the last time the "American Idol" hopefuls perform for the viewers to vote. Which of the Final 2 will join the ranks of KELLY CLARKSON, RUBEN STUDDARD and FANTASIA BARRINO as the fourth "American Idol"? CARRIE UNDERWOOD or BO BICE? America will decide!
Each of the two finalists will sing three songs: one is the single that the crowned "Idol" will record, the second is the song that has been chosen for the flipside and the third is their choice. Bo selected "Vehicle," and for Carrie, it's "Independence Day."
