Pop powerhouse CHRISTINA AGUILERA is set to get a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
Aguilera will join fellow inductees BROOKS & DUNN, RICKY MARTIN, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS and the late GEORGE HARRISON -- all are set to be honored with a star in 2008.
It was coast-to-coast awards shows Thursday night, what with the 2006 BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards in Los Angeles and the 7th Annual Latin Grammys in New York City, but that didn't stop ET from being first on the red carpet at both events to get the latest celebrity buzz.
It was berry for HALLE -- the color that is -- at the BAFTA Awards. The gorgeous Oscar winner presented SIDNEY POITIER with an award for Lifetime Contributions to International Film.

I've been modeling since I was 15, and I'm 31 now, so it's half my life. I'm walking away from modeling in general -- I might just be a little emotional."
