ROSE McGOWAN has been chosen to star in a prison drama series that would be directed by her fiance ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
McGowan would play one of five chained women at the center of the show, called "Women in Chains." Rodriguez is currently shopping a spec script for the drama to various networks, including NBC and FX, the Hollywood Reporter said.
'Grindhouse' star ROSE McGOWAN didn't want to miss out on the Cannes Film Fest fun, so she wore a black cast to cover her broken foot on the red carpet. She told People.com that the injury happened as she was running to meet her trainer and hit the doorway with her foot. Ouch! But ever the trooper, she waited till after the work-out to go to the hospital.

But "Charmed," with its loyal audience, has reached that milestone, and to celebrate the occasion, Paramount Home Video has released the first season on DVD.
"It is an incredible compliment to the show that people actually do want to own it," series star ALYSSA MILANO says. "I always say that being on TV is an incredible privilege, especially when a show is successful, because you have families and people who invite you into their homes. So, to actually own it and to be able to absorb it in your own time is very cool."
