JESSICA SIMPSON sat down with KEVIN FRAZIER to talk movies and marriage -- as she set the record straight once and for all regarding any relationship rumors surrounding her and husband NICK LACHEY: "We are so happy. For some reason, happiness isn't interesting to people ... they [the tabloids] want to sell their magazines ... at the end of the day, Nick's coming home to me."
She also says she and Nick have no regrets about documenting their personal lives on MTV's "Newlyweds" reality show. "We opened up our lives to all of that, we don't kick ourselves in the butt, though. We are happy we let people in to see who we are as a couple ... but once the cameras were off it was like a breath of fresh air."

Set in present day, the new 'Dukes of Hazzard' movie, in theaters August 5, finds 'American Pie' pal SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT and "Jackass" JOHNNY KNOXVILLE as country cousins Bo and Luke Duke, respectively.
DWAYNE "The Rock" JOHNSON smacked down the box-office competition with his new action/adventure/comedy 'The Rundown.' The buddy flick took in $18.5 million over the weekend.
In the movie, Johnson plays "Beck," an employee of an underworld kingpin who has sent him to the Amazon to rescue his son Travis (SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT). Travis disappeared while searching for a priceless artifact. But things heat up when they discover an evil gold-mining exec (CHRISTOPHER WALKEN) is after the same treasure. And to complicate matters, they both fall for Mariana (ROSARIO DAWSON).
JASON BIGGS and ALYSON HANNIGAN have tied the knot in the hilarious, gross-out-comedy sequel 'American Wedding' -- and their 'American Pie' buddies helped to make the film the No. 1 pick at the box office last weekend -- earning $34.3 million!
TITLE: American Wedding
OPENING: August 1, 2003
STARS: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Eugene Levy, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, John Cho, January Jones
WRITERS: Adam Herz
DIRECTOR: Jesse Dylan
THE PLOT: High-school sweethearts Jim Levinstein (Biggs) and Michelle Flaherty (Hannigan) are ready to tie the knot. But before they exchange vows, they rejoice in a mini-reunion with their buddies from East Great Falls High. The lovebirds only have two weeks to plan the big day so that Jim's terminally ill grandmother can witness the nuptials.
While Jim is busy getting unsolicited, last-minute advice from his father, self-proclaimed ladies' man Steve Stifler (Scott) is diligently planning the ultimate bachelor party. But first he has to vie with his pal Paul Finch (Thomas) for the affections of Michelle's maid of honor and younger sister Cadence (Jones).
THE SKINNY: This film is the third installment in a series of gross-out comedies that started with 1999's hugely successful teen flick 'American Pie.' The surprise hit, about a group of high-school friends attempting to lose their virginity, grossed more than $100 million domestically on an $11 million budget. The sequel, 'American Pie 2,' reunited the cast for a crazy summer break from college and grossed about $145 million on a budget of $30 million. While the third film reunites 'Pie' alumni Jason Biggs ('Saving Silverman'), Alyson Hannigan (TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), and Seann William Scott ('Bullet Proof Monk'), many of the original ensemble cast members were not written into the script.
RANDOM TRIVIA: While popular 'Pie' stars Chris Klein ('Election'), Tara Reid ('Van Wilder') and Shannon Elizabeth ('Tomcats') are absent from the film, Thomas Ian Nicholas ('Rookie of the Year'), Eugene Levy ('A Mighty Wind'), and Eddie Kaye Thomas ('Stolen Summer') return for what could potentially be the final 'Pie' flick. Directed by Jesse Dylan ('How High'), the film features newcomer January Jones. At one time, the film featured an appearance by "Home Improvement" star Tim Allen, who signed on to play Stifler's dad, but the performance ended up on the cutting-room floor.
In Universal's 'The Rundown,' opening September 26th, The Rock is "Beck," one bada$$ bounty hunter who owes a favor to a friend. His gnarly mission? To hit a town in the jungle called "Helldorado" in search of a convict known as Travis (played by SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT) and bring him back home.
"It's a big, action movie," The Rock says smiling. "I just want to do things that nobody's seen!"
