Country music star Shania Twain gave fans a gift on her 44th birthday. After taking the last several months to collect herself following devastating news that her husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange, was allegedly unfaithful during their marriage, Shania speaks out.
Superstar singer SHANIA TWAIN, who is going through a divorce from her husband of 14 years, music producer ROBERT "MUTT" LANGE, has posted a statement on her Web site, explaining what she is going through and thanking fans for their support.
SHANIA TWAIN's friend and longtime assistant is denying reports that she had an affair with the singer's husband, music producer ROBERT "MUTT" LANGE, People reports.
"You cannot believe everything you read in the press," the assistant, Marie-Anne Thiébaud, told the magazine. When asked directly if she had an affair with Twain's husband, she replied, "No."
Earlier this week, sources told People magazine that the surprising split between SHANIA TWAIN and her husband, producer ROBERT "MUTT" LANGE, was due to him having an affair with MARIE-ANN THIEBAUD, an employee at the couple's Swiss estate. Now the magazine has obtained photos of the woman in question.
