Daniel Meade's (ERIC MABIUS) most important relationship is the one he has with Betty (AMERICA FERRERA), who is teaching him to be a more responsible human being. Even so, he still is a man-about-town. Check out this gallery of famous faces that Daniel has dated. "Ugly Betty" airs its final episode tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
ET confirms that former "Sopranos" star DREA DE MATTEO has given birth to a baby girl.
Drea, 35, and her boyfriend of six years, SHOOTER JENNINGS, 28, welcomed ALABAMA GYPSYROSE JENNINGS into the world last night, and "family and baby are happy and healthy," their rep says.
Don't stop believin'! "The Sopranos" whacked the competition at the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The HBO Jersey mob hit celebrated its swan song with top honors as Outstanding Drama Series, cutting short the hopes of "Boston Legal," "Grey's Anatomy," "Heroes" and "House." It also nabbed the Emmy for Best Drama, Best Writing and Best Directing. Outstanding Comedy Series honors went to "30 Rock" over "Entourage," "The Office," "Two-and-a-Half Men" and "Ugly Betty."
New York Senator HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON aims to beat out her Democratic compatriots in the race for U.S. President, but first she announced the winner of another competition -- the official anthem for her 2008 campaign -- in a unique twist that takes a page from TV mobster Tony Soprano.
Clinton chose to reveal the winner of the song competition -- CELINE DION's "You and I," which was actually a write-in idea -- via a short video on her official Web site and on YouTube which spoofs the much-talked about season finale of HBO's "Sopranos."
Santa's coming early this year as BEN AFFLECK teams up with "Sopranos" star JAMES GANDOLFINI and 'Anchorman' cornerstone CHRISTINA APPLEGATE for the yuletide comedy 'Surviving Christmas,' in theaters October 22.
Tonight on ET, our own JANN CARL's on the red carpet with Ben, James and the cast of 'Christmas' for the Hollywood premiere to see if they've been naughty or nice!
Wise guys, winged angels and a highly dysfunctional family proved to be the best of the best at this year's fashionable, 56th Annual Emmy® Awards, telecast on a crisp, breezy fall day from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
With 89 nominations in its holster during its six-year run, "The Sopranos" finally won its first Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series. Although heavy hitters JAMES GANDOLFINI and EDIE FALCO walked away empty-handed, supporting players DREA de MATTEO and MICHAEL IMPERIOLI both made off with statuettes; it was lucky de Matteo's first-ever nomination, and the third time was the charm for Imperioli. HBO's modern-day, mob hit also won a Best Writing award.
Even as HBO prepares to say goodbye to "Sex and the City," it welcomes back "The Sopranos" and introduces the new lawless western drama "Deadwood," starring KEITH CARRADINE.
There are only six episodes left before Carrie (SARAH JESSICA PARKER), Samantha (KIM CATTRALL), Miranda (CYNTHIA NIXON) and Charlotte (KRISTIN DAVIS) wrap up their Big Apple antics. Series star Sarah Jessica tells ET that she still doesn't know the ending and doesn't want to. The series doesn't wrap production until the first week in February, so there is still work to be done, and that is where her focus is. The Golden Globe winner is about to leave the country to shoot an episode. Rumors have been swirling that Carrie goes to Paris with her lover Aleksandr (MIKHAIL BARYSHNIKOV), where she runs into Big (CHRIS NOTH) and realizes that she is still in love with him. While the story info is in no way confirmed (there may be as many as three different endings to keep people guessing), Chris did say that he was back for three of the final six, so it is a possibility. Of going out on a high note, Sarah Jessica says, "I felt that the show would have to take a very serious left or right turn, whatever is more serious to you. And the next chapters are really vital and important, and not stories that I was ready to tell as Carrie Bradshaw."
"The West Wing," "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "The Sopranos" were the top dogs among a broad pack of winners at the 55th Annual Emmy Awards under the roof of L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium.
The Television Academy showed it still loves "Raymond," as the long-running CBS sitcom finally walked away with the Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy and more top honors for its supporting players, plus one for writing. DORIS ROBERTS proclaimed, "I'm a triple-crown winner!" while accepting her third statuette for her supporting role in the show. And BRAD GARRETT nabbed his second consecutive trophy for his role as Raymond's brother, Robert. Referring to his recent salary dispute with the show's producers, he quipped, "Thanks for not firing my ass. It's good to be back."
