Will TOM CRUISE star in a fourth 'Mission: Impossible' movie? The franchise seemed doomed after Viacom/CBS executive chairman and controlling shareholder SUMNER REDSTONE ended a 14-year production relationship with the star and his producing partner, PAULA WAGNER, in August of 2006.

But now, according to the Associated Press, Cruise is in talks with Viacom-owned Paramount Pictures to star in another 'Impossible' installment, and the A-List star was reportedly seen dining with Redstone in Beverly Hills in March.

Fresh off the buzz for the highly anticipated 'Iron Man' movie, word from SUMNER REDSTONE, Executive chairman, Viacom Inc. and CBS Corp. and BRAD GREY, CEO Paramount Pictures, tell ET that if the movie does as well as expected, the studio is looking to release a follow-up in 2010.

The two Hollywood heavyweights took in the premiere of the super hero action flick Wednesday night, while the film's stars ROBERT DOWNEY JR. and GWYNETH PALTROW rocked the red carpet!

The TOM CRUISE / Paramount Studios break-up debacle is heating up and the issue now turns to money as the 'Mission: Impossible 3' star and his fiancée KATIE HOLMES are doing business as usual.

Tom and Katie were spotted Thursday surrounded by bodyguards as they exited the Yahoo offices in Santa Monica, California. Is there a new deal in the works? In the past year the versatile actor has appeared at a number of events held by the Internet company, and he may be working on future projects.

There's a new break-up to report in Hollywood! The news came in late Tuesday afternoon that Tom Cruise's production company is divorcing from Paramount -- the studio it's been affiliated with since 1992.

The studio's contract with the star's Cruise/Wagner Productions was severed Tuesday.
