SUZANNE SOMERS became famous for her role as Chrissy on "Three's Company," followed by a seven-year run on "Step by Step," but these days the Golden Globe-nominated actress' focus is less on performing and more on expanding her business empire, which runs the gamut from Somersize products to beauty products, fitness products, weight-loss products, books, tapes, jewelry and apparel.
"When you are doing series, it comes to an end and the next crop just comes in," the author of Ageless: The Naked Truth About Bioidentical Hormones tells ET's MARY HART on a visit to Stage 28. "How great it is to reinvent."
Even though COURTENEY COX's Malibu home was only about one-half mile from the terrible fire that totally demolished SUZANNE SOMERS' beachfront home, the executive producer/star of "Dirt," showed up to talk with reporters at the Television Critics Association's January press tour in Pasadena, CA.
"I wasn't [in Malibu]," Courteney explains. "My assistant was and she kept me up-to-date."
SUZANNE SOMERS is shaping up for summer with an all-new book that's chock-full of delicious recipes for the curve-conscious.
ET caught up with the sparkling blonde and breast cancer survivor -- who now heads a multimillion-dollar empire that includes "Somersize" books, food and a Home Shopping Network line of clothes and jewelry (go to suzannesomers.com for more info) -- to find out what happened after she left one of the hottest shows of the '70s, "Three's Company"!
It's been more than a year since JOHN RITTER's passing, so to fill the void for fans who have been missing the actor's unique charm and abundant talent, on Dec. 14, SRO Entertainment/Kultur® will release a DVD of a rarely seen, hourlong sketch comedy special starring the beloved comedian.
On tonight's ET, we have an advance look at the wild and wonderful "John Ritter: Being of Sound Mind & Body," which also stars John's "Three's Company" co-stars SUZANNE SOMERS and JOYCE DeWITT, as well as the legendary master of horror VINCENT PRICE and "WKRP in Cincinnati"'s HOWARD HESSEMAN.
TV star and author SUZANNE SOMERS has written more than 10 books, including her latest The Sexy Years: Discover the Hormone Connection: The Secret to Fabulous Sex, Great Health, and Vitality, for Women and Men, that have guided people through weight problems, how to eat right, and now menopause.
Tonight on ET, the "Three's Company" star weighs in on another life-improving guru -- MARTHA STEWART -- and says she can relate to the domestic diva's woes.
Actor JOHN RITTER's sudden, tragic passing last week caught the world by surprise, and it left some open-ended questions concerning the fate of his hit ABC sitcom, "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," and what's next for John's real-life family. We have the latest.
ABC has confirmed that the first of three episodes of "8 Simple Rules" that John had completed before his untimely death will premiere next Tuesday as scheduled with special introductions by members of the cast. After the remaining two air, the series will then go into repeats while writers work on how to deal with John's death. When it returns, "8 Simple Rules" will address the star's passing.
Hollywood woke up last Friday morning to the shocking news that 54-year-old JOHN RITTER died Thursday night of a dissection of the aorta, the result of an undiagnosed heart condition. The Emmy-winning actor had taken ill on the set during rehearsals for his sitcom, "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," and been taken to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. He passed away shortly after 10 p.m.
ET learned that HENRY WINKLER and PETER BOGDANOVICH were scheduled to be in that week's "8 Simple Rules" episode, which was in rehearsals last week. In fact, Winkler told ET he was on the set waiting to rehearse a scene with John when a rep from the show told him they believed John had food poisoning and had gone home. Winkler rehearsed the scene with a dialog coach and left. Later, he received a phone call telling him John had died.
