Tatum O'Neal has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in connection with her arrest last month for alleged drug possession. Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Elisa Koenderman ordered O'Neal to spend two half-day sessions in a drug treatment program and pay a $95 fee. If she complies, she will get a conditional discharge and the conviction will be erased if she stays out of trouble for one year.

Only a day after an unfortunate slip caused Academy Award-winning actress TATUM O'NEAL to be arrested on drug charges on Sunday, the actress spoke about her relationship with her children.

TATUM O'NEAL told the New York Post that her weekend drug arrest stemmed from profound sadness over the loss of her dog to cancer three weeks ago.
"I'm still sober," the Oscar-winning actress told the Post in a telephone call after her arraignment in a New York court on Monday. "Just when I was about to change that and wreck my life, the cops came and saved me."

Oscar-winning actress TATUM O'NEAL has been charged with misdemeanor drug possession following her arrest Sunday on suspicion of purchasing cocaine on a Manhattan street.
O'Neal, who arrived at the court wearing a gray tank top and her hair tied back in a pony tail, was arraigned Monday and released on her own recognizance after a brief hearing. Her next court date is July 28th. She was seen laughing and talking to court officers.

Actress TATUM O'NEAL has been arrested after allegedly buying drugs near her home in Manhattan, reports the Associated Press. Police tell the AP that the Academy Award-winning actress was seen making an illicit purchase early yesterday evening. She has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. KATE BOSWORTH and her co-star JIM STURGESS ('Across the Universe') turned out for a special screening in New York of their new card-counting pic, '21.' "I wish I knew how to count cards and I could teach all my friends but it's really not that easy," Jim joked, going on to point out: "The craziest thing I've ever done for money would be acting -- a pretty crazy thing to do for your money."
