'Iron Man' actor and Oscar nominee Terrence Howard is mourning the loss of his mother, who passed away after fighting cancer.
Marvel Comics' legendary super hero 'Iron Man' takes off this weekend in theaters, and the films stars -- including ROBERT DOWNEY JR., GWYNETH PALTROW, TERRENCE HOWARD and JEFF BRIDGES -- took the world-famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre by storm Wednesday night for their big Hollywood premiere!
In the movie directed by JON FAVREAU ('Elf,' 'Zathura'), Downey plays Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor whose captivity by insurgents motivates him to build a suit of armor to escape. Once free, he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications and fine-tunes the high-tech suit to protect the world as Iron Man!

RICHARD GERE, TERRENCE HOWARD and JAMES BROLIN headline the powerful new war drama 'The Hunting Party,' in theaters September 7.
"It was important to shoot this movie and [in Bosnia]," Gere tells ET. "It had to be in Sarajevo; spending time with the people, being in the spaces where it happened -- everybody had a story about every building, every place. You go to the place where the first people were killed by snipers; you saw the first place where the artillery was up in the hills bombarding people for two years. It's very important to be in a place like that if you're going to shoot it."

JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS checked himself into rehab this week, just after the busy "Tudors" star completed filming on 'August Rush' with KERI RUSSELL, ROBIN WILLIAMS and TERRENCE HOWARD in New York City.
"After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program," his rep tells ET. "He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
