FOX today announced the return dates for its current series, including "Bones," "Back to You," "'Til Death" and "House" and confirmed -- as ET previously reported -- that "24" will return to production but will not air its seventh season until January 2009, in order to run all 24 hours consecutively.
Also back in production but with no announced airdates are the animated series -- "American Dad," "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons."
The divorce between BRAD GARRETT and JILL DIVEN has been finalized. According to the court papers, the couple split on April 7, 2006. The news was kept quiet until Jill filed for divorce in July 2006. The cause was listed as irreconcilable differences.
ET has obtained court papers that state that the marriage officially ended on Friday, Nov. 2. The judgment contains provisions for the dissolution of the community property and for child support. The parties will share joint legal custody of the two minor children -- MAXWELL, 9, and HOPE, 7.
Whether or not he was a fan of "American Idol" in previous seasons is a moot point. These days, BRAD GARRETT couldn't be happier to be literally behind the FOX powerhouse show on Wednesday nights at 9:30, as it has boosted the ratings of his own comedy series, "'Til Death."
Brad's co-star is JOELY FISHER, and he tells ET's JANN CARL that the chemistry between the two of them was instantaneous.
If you're ready to tie the knot as early as Saturday, April 7, the folks behind the hit FOX series "'Til Death" would like to make that walk down the aisle a bit more memorable.
Starting today, eligible couples can enter to win an all-expenses-paid wedding at The Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. What's more, "'Til Death" star BRAD GARRETT will serve as a witness at the ceremony!
"Prison Break" is a different series for its second season, with 95 percent of the show being shot on locations in and around Dallas, TX. The inmates are out and running for their freedom. And while their lives will still intertwine to some degree, as several of the escapees are after D.B. COOPER's $5 million, the convicts will spread out as they face their individual fates.
Thursday night at 9 o'clock this fall will be the battle of the TV titans as CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" goes up against ABC's "Grey's Anatomy." ET gets the inside scoop from CRAIG TOMASHOFF, TV Guide's West Coast Bureau Chief, on who will win the ratings race.
"CBS at the moment stands a chance of winning the night because it has two established shows already [and a new show, 'Shark'] that will look and feel like an established show, but ABC stands a very good chance of making some inroads because they have 'Grey's Anatomy,' and are following it with a show ['Six Degrees'] that is very like-minded," he handicaps. "NBC may do well early in the evening because they have the comedies ['My Name is Earl' and 'The Office'], but it is going to be very tough for them after that."
FOX unveiled its fall slate today, which includes four new dramas ("Vanished," "Standoff," "Justice" and "The Wedding Album") and two new comedies ("'Till Death" and "Happy Hour"), while the number one-rated "American Idol" returns in January.
Also in "Idol" news, judge SIMON COWELL will debut a new reality series called "Duets," a four-week special that will air prior to the Major League Baseball playoffs.
