Quirky filmmaker Tim Burton gets a first glimpse of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction, which is based on his 1993 film 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.'
Actress Helena Bonham Carter is grieving following the devastating news that four of her family members died in a bus crash while on safari in South Africa, reports Britain's Daily Mail.
ET confirms that longtime couple HELENA BONHAM CARTER and TIM BURTON are expecting their second child later this year.
Helena's publicist tells ET that they are "very happy" about their upcoming special delivery. The couple's son, BILLY-RAY BURTON, will turn four this October.
Hollywood is finally rolling out more exciting fare after the duds of the summer doldrums. Here's a taste of the new fare that the studios have to offer at the multiplexes.
Inspired by the cult-like success of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' TIM BURTON is back with an all-new, animated stop-motion fable, opening wide this weekend. 'Corpse Bride' is somewhat of a family affair, as Tim's wife HELENA BONHAM CARTER voices the title character and regular Burton player JOHNNY DEPP also lends his voice, fresh from the summer success of their 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' collaboration. Set in a rigid 19th-century European village, the story takes place the day before Victor (Depp) and Victoria (EMILY WATSON) are set to exchange vows in an arranged marriage. Disillusioned, Victor takes a walk in the woods to practice his vows, unwittingly hitching himself to the mysterious Corpse Bride in the colorful underworld. Burton mainstay DANNY ELFMAN provides the songs and soundtrack to the twisted and entertaining tale.
Storyteller ROALD DAHL's classic children's tale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, has returned to the big screen this summer in an all-new interpretation from director TIM BURTON -- starring JOHNNY DEPP as Willy Wonka! And the movie topped the box-office once again over the weekend with a sweet $28.3 million, bringing its total to $114.1 million.
From a drunken pirate and a gonzo journalist to a gypsy and a man with scissor-hands, JOHNNY DEPP's played 'em all. Now, the Oscar®-nominated actor returns to the big screen to play the one and only Willy Wonka in director TIM BURTON's all-new interpretation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, in theaters July 15!
We caught up with Johnny and other irresistable stars at the movie's premiere in Hollywood -- and it was such a hot event that even a very pregnant BRITNEY SPEARS arrived with her hubby, KEVIN FEDERLINE!

"My kids haven't seen the film yet, but they're very excited to see it," Johnny tells "ET on MTV." "I remember when they first came to visit me on the set, the first time they saw me all decked out as Wonka, they stared at me for about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes. They could recognize elements of their dad but they couldn't quite get it."
Peter Pan creator J.M. BARRIE loved children, and who better to portray him in a movie than JOHNNY DEPP, who consistently captures the imaginations of moviegoers young and old -- and is himself a father of two? We caught up with Johnny to get his take on fame, fatherhood and 'Finding Neverland,' in theaters Nov. 12.
"Being a father of two certainly brings a different dynamic into every and any role you play," Johnny tells ET. "With Barrie, who [had an] obsession with that stage of life, and the honesty and purity that children have -- I witness it every day -- even if I was trying to keep it out, it would sneak in."

The charismatic EWAN McGREGOR has paired up in the movie world with beauties like the ravishing NICOLE KIDMAN ('Moulin Rouge') and the adorable RENÉE ZELLWEGER ('Down with Love'). But in 'Big Fish' he's teaming up with a not-so-glamorous gang of giants, witches and conjoined-twin lounge singers! Ewan sits down with ET to talk about his new buzz-worthy movie -- and warns all that this touching pic may require tissues for the tenderhearted.
Directed by TIM BURTON ('Edward Scissorhands,' 'Sleepy Hollow'), the dramedy revolves around Edward Bloom (played by 'Erin Brockovich's ALBERT FINNEY as the present-day Bloom and McGregor in the flashbacks). Known as a teller of tall tales, he often reflects on the journeys he made as a young man that took him through storybook exploits around the world.
