According to Daily Variety, returning comedy series include "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory," "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Rules of Engagement," while the explosive drama "The Unit" will also be back.

CHARLIE SHEEN and JON CRYER joined the rest of their castmates Wednesday night for "An Evening with 'Two and a Half Men,'" a tribute to the popular CBS sitcom held at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles.
Moderated by Daily Variety's Chief TV Critic BRIAN LOWRY, the event offered a unique peek behind the scenes of the long-running, Emmy-nominated series.

With the Writers Guild of America strike at an end, CBS today announced anticipated dates for the return of their most popular series with new episodes. The half-hour comedies will return as early as March 17, with dramas taking a bit longer. The majority of them will return in April, but "CSI: Miami" will be back as early as March 24.
