Move over Kristen Stewart. Uma Thurman is gauging the interest of 'Twilight' hunk Robert Pattinson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two will be starring opposite one another in an adaptation of of Guy de Maupassant's short story 'Bel Ami.'

The man convicted of stalking UMA THURMAN was spotted roaming the streets of NYC on Friday, despite the fact that he wasn't expected in the Big Apple.
"We were looking for him yesterday. If we find him we're telling him he needs to go back to Maryland -- they are handling his case," a spokesman for NY's Department of Probation tells ET.
JACK JORDAN, the man convicted of stalkingUMA THURMAN, was sentenced to three years probation on aggravated harassment and time served on Monday, and was told that he must seek psychiatric treatment.
Judge GREGORY CARRO issued a five-year order of protection, stating that Jordan cannot go near Thurman or her family.
UMA THURMAN sued Lancôme to the tune of a reported $15 million on Friday, Women's Wear Daily reports. The actress alleges in her lawsuit that the cosmetics manufacturer continued to use her likeness in advertising after her contract expired in 2004.
"The use of Ms. Thurman’s image after her contract expired, however minor, was neither deliberate nor intentional," a spokeswomen for L'Oreal, which owns Lancome, tells WWD. "As this matter is currently in litigation, it is Lancôme’s policy not to comment on legal matters while they are in progress."
JACK JORDAN, the man who was on trial for allegedly stalking actress UMA THURMAN, was convicted today of stalking and aggravated harassment, ET confirms. The judge remanded him for psychiatric evaluation and he will remain there until his next court date, scheduled for June 2.
JACK JORDAN, the alleged stalker of the actress UMA THURMAN, took the witness stand Friday in NY State Supreme Court. He told jurors that he never threatened to harm or harass her, but that he felt closeness with the actress.
He characterized a confirmation card he sent her as "humorous," not frightening.
UMA THURMAN took the stand today against JACK JORDAN, the man accused of stalking her. According to her testimony, she felt sickened and terrified by the man accused of stalking her. She was further upset to discover that he'd been in contact with her parents.

In day two of a trial against JACK JORDAN, a man accused of stalking UMA THURMAN, the actress' parents took the stand.
Uma's dad, ROBERT, a professor of Tibetan studies at Columbia University, said that Jordan started writing to him in the winter of 2004-2005. He said that the man send him emails that went on for "pages and pages" and the letters contained frightening language like "Today the center of my forehead is ticking. I feel in love with your daughter, Uma. Often lately, these thoughts include Uma and when I see her or hear her voice, I feel very much in love. Like she and I refound each other. I imagined us in a cave a long time ago."

The case against a man accused of stalking actress UMA THURMAN opened in a New York court room today. JACK JORDAN has pleaded not guilty to stalking charges.
ET has learned that a relative of Thurman took the stand today and testified about phone calls he allegedly received from the defendant. The relative said that the defendant threatened to kill himself within 24-48 hours if he did not get Thurman's phone number, and also said that Jordan claimed that Thurman visited him in dreams in the form of a goddess.
